"Dark Heart Forever" by Lee Monroe

Dark Heart Forever (Dark Heart, #1)First I just want to say that I really like the cover of this book.  Having said that the old adage "you can not judge a book by it's cover" is so true. This book is a good example. The plot had such potential unfortunately the characters fell flat. 16-yr-old Jane Jonas had troubling dreams starring green-eyed Luca. There simply was not enough enough of a plot and the character development for Jane or Luca was not enough. Jane was rather lifeless and even boring at times. Luca had potential but there was not much interaction between the two really, certainly not enough to believe that they could fall madly in love. Evan, the bad boy is actually the most interesting character.  My mistake was not only in buying this book by it's cover but also in buying the second book as well. Oh well live and learn and lets hope the second book is much better.

didn't like it it was ok (my current rating) liked it really liked it it was amazing
