"Ashfall" by Mike Mullin

Ashfall (Ashfall, #1)Mike Mullin's writing in "Ashfall" pulls no punches. It is hard-hitting from beginning to end, yet riveting. It delivers action and thrashes along at a pulse pounding speed until it's final word. If you ever wondered what it would be like to survive an apocalypse then climb aboard this all to realistic, volcanic thrill ride and see for yourself how terrifying it can get in the aftermath of an all too possible super eruption. Though Mullin pulls no punches, he weaves tender magical and even at times humorous moments into the storyline at just the right tempo to create a truly gripping, heart wrenching disaster tale that you'll be unable to put down.

  1. I love your great reviews. They're small but powerful. That's how I like to write mine too :)

    1. I'm sorry it took me so long to reply, but I am very new at this and only came across your comment today. :o( I obviously don't know what I'm doing. I looked at your blog and it is awesome. I'm still learning. I basically just wanted a place to keep track of books I've read. Thank you so much for your comment - I know that my reviews are shorter than most but I know that I don't like to read a long rambling review. I just want it short and sweet - did you like the book or not and a quick reason why. So thanks again - it means a lot when I find someone who likes reviews the way that I do. :o)
