I love John Green's writing. It is smart and real and though sometimes the dialogue seems a little old for it's intended teenage characters - I find I just don't care. I enjoy the writing that much. After having devoured his newest book "The Fault In Our Stars," I just had to read more - thus the reason behind picking up "Looking for Alaska." All I can say is ... another freaking wonderful book. It bounces between sweet and funny and always stays unpredictable - which I love. |
